Avianor, Airbus, Bombardier, Pratt & Whitney unite with the City of Mirabel to offer Aviation Connection’s Aviation Training Program to all students at Mirabel High School.

If Mayor Jean Bouchard sees big for his city he sees big for the young people of Mirabel. Aviation Connection’s Aviation Training Program is aligned with his vision to make Mirabel an economic leader. Mirabel is an important component of Greater Montréal’s aerospace cluster. A good percentage of the citizens of Mirabel depend on the aviation industry and its ecosystem, especially with the presence of  Airbus, the second largest commercial aircraft manufacturer in the world.

Aerospace industry leaders have selected Mirabel for its undeniable advantages. In addition to Airbus, Mirabel has several major key companies on its territory, such as Bell Helicopter Textron, Pratt & Whitney, Bombardier, Messier-Dowty, Technicolor, and many others. While the industry flourishes Mirabel  retaining its cachet, its charm and its tranquility.

Nathalie Flamand, Director of Mirabel High School is determined to give her students all the tools they need to succeed, starting with stimulating extracurricular activities that meet the needs of students who want to excel. Professor of Science and Mathematics, Mrs. Flamand recognizes the benefits of PFA that stimulates students in learning STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics). ‘High School must be remembered by all students as a beautiful and fulfilling experience’ says Mrs Flamand.

Seven flight simulators are in place in the class room designated AERO LAB. .
