École Secondaire Louis Riel is the only High School in Greater Montreal to offer a course focused on the world of aerospace. Objective: students will complete their studies with two DES-DEP diplomas which will give them access to college programs, including the Maintenance program at the École Nationale d’Aérotechnique of Collège Édouard-Montpetit, which recognizes two DEP courses from the EMAM. The Aeronautics component is offered by the Aviation Connection Team, which set up, in the fall of 2021, an AERO LAB equipped with 15 flight simulators to accommodate 30 students at a time. In the fall of 2022, the AERO1 (flight) component will be added the AERO2 (Engineering) component: 90 students.
