Mr. Christian Lacourse, Director of the JH Leclerc School in Granby, confirms his interest in the Aeronautical Training Program (ATP) to be offered to students in Secondary 3, 4 and 5, as of September 2018.

The ATP represents a great opportunity, not only for high school students, but also for CEGEP students in Granby enrolled in the new mechanical engineering program. They will be able to get involved in the restoration of a GRUMMAN TRAINER aircraft, donated by Aviation Connection, as part of the program.

The ATP is promoting a region that is mobilized to ensure the availability of a qualified workforce to support economic growth:

Mr. Patrick St-Laurent, General Manager of Granby Industrial recognizes the value of the ATP that promotes the integration of young people in the region’s leading manufacturing companies. The ATP prepares students for a pathway in science and technology and introduces them to careers in these fields, thereby addressing the problems of lack of specialized manpower at the source, particularly in the aeronautics sector.
